Q. How do I access Kanopy?

To access the Kanopy database you will need to log into the database through the library website and sign up for a Kanopy account. 

To do that:

1. Access Kanopy through Seneca Libraries with your Seneca username and password.
2. Sign up for an account in Kanopy (Log in --> Don't have an account?)
3. Fill in the form with your information. You must use your Seneca email address and a password of your choice.
4. Kanopy will send you a verification email*. For future access you will need to verify your account. 
   *This email may be caught by Seneca's spam filters. 

If you'd like to use Kanopy on a mobile device you can access it through their app.

Also note that videos on Kanopy will not be displayed over MS Teams or Zoom. If you are sharing videos with a class, please share the link to the video instead.

Forgot your password? You'll need to reset your password through Kanopy by clicking the Forgot Password link on the login page. If you're unable to send yourself a password reset email, your account may not have been verified. You will need to find the verification email from kanopy.com and verify your account before your password reset can be sent to you.
