Reproducing an article found in a library database by any means, such as uploading it to a website for viewing (e.g. Learn@Seneca (Blackboard)), or attaching it as a document in an email message, may be a breach of contractual terms and/or copyright.
The safest way to share an article with students or faculty is by sending or posting the permalink so users can access a copy on their own. For instructions on how to make web links that stay persistent/active for Seneca Libraries' databases, make a note of which database your article is housed in and visit our persistent link information page.
If you want to share an article printed from a database, copies direct from the original source may be submitted if a database's Terms of Use allows it. To view the Terms of Use for a specific database:
