Links copied from the browser address bar while in a library database often won't work after you end your browser session. You'll need to create permanent, persistent links to documents if you want to share them with others or save them for future access.

Where do you get a permalink from? Some databases can generate a permalink for you, but not all of them have that option.

Visit the Seneca Libraries' Persistent Links page for database-specific instructions.

Faculty can also contact their liaison librarian for assistance with persistent links.
