Zotero and Mendeley are free citation management software products that collect and manage your research online and syncs to your word processor citations. Seneca Libraries encourages you to explore the capabilities of these tools but does not provide support in the library on how to use the tool. The Zotero and Mendeley websites have a number of help guides that we recommend using.
As these tools are becoming more popular it is important to note that they have limitations and should not be used in isolation. Seneca Libraries recommend that all citations should be checked for accuracy using either the MLA or APA citation format.
