Q. Does Seneca Libraries support any one particular reference management software (e.g. RefWorks, Endnote, Zotero, Mendeley, etc.)?

Seneca Polytechnic does not provide access to any of the proprietary citation management tools (e.g. EndNote, RefWorks, Zotero, etc.).

Of the free citation managers that are available (e.g. Zotero, Mendeley) we encourage you to choose whichever one best meets your personal criteria. Feel free to look at this comparison chart which compares Zotero and Mendeley in a number of categories.

Seneca Libraries does not officially support any of these software products but you can find a variety of help and support tools on their respective websites. As these tools are becoming more popular it is important to note that they have limitations and should not be used in isolation. Seneca Libraries recommend that all citations should be checked for accuracy using either the MLA or APA citation format.
