CINAHL is a nursing database subscribed to by Seneca Libraries. First, access the database from the Seneca Libraries webpage by clicking 'Databases' -- 'C' tab -- 'CINAHL', and log in with your Seneca username and password.

Begin searching the database by entering your topic's keywords in the search box. Before you submit your search, check the boxes "Full Text" and "Peer Reviewed" (if required by your instructor) under 'Search Options -- Limit Your Results'. Checking these boxes off makes sure Seneca Libraries has access to the full-text of the article as opposed to just the abstract, and that the article is peer-reviewed and acceptable for use in your assignment.

Once you submit your search, articles are displayed by title. Click on the title of an article if you'd like to see more information about it, and click the PDF link at the top left of the page to open the full article. With your article open, you may print, email or save the article using the options on the right.
