No, textbooks held in the Reserve Collection are strictly for in-library use and may not be taken out of the library for any reason.

The library will not make special accommodations for any student (or faculty) requiring a textbook. The library's textbook collection is not meant to replace the buying of required course texts.

Are there other options in the library?

Often older editions of textbooks can be found in the general collection. Though these editions can be signed out for two week periods, the library can't guarantee availability due to high demand.
