Vivintel surveys thousands of participants for each cycle. These numbers are then weighted to represent the total population. 

To find the specific number for each period, select the study you would like to apply to your cross table, and a starting table will appear. This will include the sample size from the study, as well as other data points, including the base of the study (individuals aged 14+) and the total population (which is in thousands).

In the image below, you can see that the sample size is 52,106, which is weighted to represent the total population of Canadians ages 14+ (33,959,000).
