The first step in finding news and magazine articles on business topics is to select a database that includes that type of material, such as the Canadian Business & Current Affairs and Canadian Newsstreamdatabases. Find these databases on the Business subject guide.
Once you've selected and opened a database:
Search for keywords on a topic – for example, to find articles about advertising on social media, try searching for the words advertising social media.
To find articles published more recently, set a date-range to search by.
Filter your results by Source Type to newspapers or magazines, or whichever source type you are looking for.
On the results page, sort the results by Relevance to bring articles that are more related to the search terms to the top of the list.
If needed, modify search terms and search again using different keywords.
