Leganto has a button called "Cite It" that you can add to your browser bookmark bar. This button enables you to quickly add web resources (such as websites) to your Leganto list. When you see a web resource you want to add, you simply click "Cite It" and it pulls the URL and other information about the page to create an item in Leganto that you can then edit if you choose.

To access the "Cite It" button within Leganto, click on the gear icon and then click "Cite It" (Fig. 1) and then click and drag the "Cite It" button to your browser bookmark bar (Fig. 2).

The next time you are on a website you want to add to a Leganto list, simply click "Cite It" in your browser bookmark bar.

Important! If your Cite It button is not working, make sure that your browser allows for third-party cookies.

This is what you should see when you click on "Cite It" in your browser bar:

The form begins with Add this to my list and includes general information such as what type of source, title and the URL

If you are instead redirected to the Leganto page, you must adjust your browser's security settings to allow for third-party cookies. You may also want to try to delete the Cite It button and redownload it.

As an example, here's where you can change the configuration in Chrome:

In Chrome look for cookies and other site data to allow cookies
