Students - looking for a course resource list? Ask your instructor for information on how to access your course list from within your Learn@Seneca (Blackboard) course if they are using Leganto. There should be a link in your course menu in Learn@Seneca (Blackboard) course, it may be labelled Course Resources, Reading List, Leganto, Library Readings or something else.
Leganto is a resource list management system that allows course instructors to quickly build specialized resource lists for your courses. The Leganto search spans the library collection and other openly available resources, and you can add more digital items from online and your own collection.
Because Leganto is also linked to Learn@Seneca (Blackboard), you can embed your resource lists right into your courses, making it easy to access for students.
There are a myriad of useful features available to students (accessing, commenting, "liking", etc.) and faculty (analytics, ability to edit within Blackboard, etc.) to enhance virtual learning and class participation.
Interested instructors should contact their liaison librarians. You can also check out our Faculty Mini-Series episode on Leganto.
If you are not an instructor, but are interested in Leganto, please contact librarytechhelp@senecapolytechnic.ca for assistance.
