DRM (Digital Rights Management) and TPM (Technical Protection Measures) are digital "locks" that prevent copyright-protected digital works from being accessed or copied without permission of the copyright holder. These locks are protected from being broken by the Canadian Copyright Act and its amending Copyright Modernization Act.
