Q. Can faculty book a class visit by a librarian to show students how to use library resources?

Our librarians can offer support for research assignments by helping teach students how to use the library's databases and research tools. Contact the program's liaison librarian directly to make arrangements. NOTE: Instructors are expected to be present during in-person/synchronous Library and Sandbox workshops. It is crucial for instructors to actively engage with their students, address any questions about the research assignment during the session, and provide additional context for the skills being taught. Moreover, students tend to be more engaged when the instructor participates, as it makes the session feel more integral rather than optional.
