Yes, you are allowed to show an online video in your class as long as:

  • it's a legitimate copy of the work (i.e., it was uploaded by the copyright owner),
  • there's no visible notice prohibiting educational use,
  • and there's no access lock preventing the public from accessing the video (i.e., doesn't require users to login to access content).

Please note that you can't show films accessible through personal subscriptions, such as Crave and Disney+, in class.
