Virtual Appointments (COVID-19 update)
While classes have been moved online, so have research appointments. All research appointments will be conducted virtually at their scheduled time.
Once your scheduled appointment time has been confirmed you will be sent a link to video chat room. You can access this page on any device but it is preferable to access it on a computer with a working microphone and camera. It can be used with your mobile phone. This tool will allow us to see and communicate with you, as well as allow us to show you resources and vice versa with screen sharing. If you do not have a device with microphone that can connect to the internet, please let your librarian know and provide them with a phone number so they can call you. There will be no research appointments conducted in person at this time.
The program will request access to your camera and microphone depending on your browser/device. Click to allow.
With a research appointment you can:
- Spend up to 50 minutes with a library staff member
- Discuss research or citation questions
Please book at least 24 hours in advance so we can make sure someone is available for you. You can book 1 appointment per day, and up to 2 per week.
You will receive a confirmation email with the name of the librarian you're meeting, as well as the date and time of your booking.
Need research help right now?
If you're on campus and have a research question, visit us at the Library Service Desk. There is always someone there who can help you with research and citation.

Need to cancel your research appointment?
The confirmation email contains a link that allows you to cancel your appointment.
If you didn't receive a cancellation email or if you're cancelling at the last minute we appreciate it if you let us know. Stop by the library, give us a call, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
