Materials can be renewed using the self-check machines on campus or online through your library account.

Online Renewals

  1. Visit the library website and click the My Library Account button at the top right of the page.
  2. Login with your Seneca email and password.
  3. In the Overview tab, there is a Renew All button that you can click to renew your books if your account is in good standing. (Can't renew? See Are there restrictions? below).

Alternately, you can go into the Loans tab and select individual titles you'd like to renew.

In-Person Renewals

To renew your books on campus, you can use our SelfCheck machines. Renewals can be done even if you don't have your books with you.

  • Scan your OneCard using the barcode reader at the selfcheck station.
  • Select 'View account'.
  • Select the items you wish to renew and press the Renew button.
  • The selfcheck will let you know if your request to renew was successful.

Are there restrictions?

  • Overdue items need to be renewed by a library staff member.
  • You won't be able to renew items that are on hold for other patrons.
  • You must be registered in the current term (fall, winter, or summer).
  • 3-day loans are not renewable.

If you need assistance please speak with staff at the Library Service Desk between 9-5, Monday through Friday, or you chat with us using the chat box on this page.
