Need your textbooks? Information about required textbooks should be available in your Blackboard account on each course page, but if you don't see any information or are trying to get a jump on the next term you can try:

  1. The Bookstore's website
    • Use the Textbook & Course Materials link under the Books tab. This may be the most accurate method to find your required materials, as long as instructors have made your books available for purchase in the college bookstore. You will need:
      • Your student ID, or,
      • Your course code(s) (e.g. HUM100) and section(s) (e.g. NAA)
  2. Seneca’s Course Outline search
    • Search by course code and school at the top of the screen. This will locate the outline for your course which may contain textbook information.
      • This is the best way to locate a required title when your instructor has not made your textbooks available for purchase in the college bookstore.
      • The course outline may not list required reading or it may be incomplete. Confirm textbooks listed on these outlines with your instructor before purchasing.
  3. Within your Blackboard course
    • Once your course becomes available on Blackboard your teacher will usually provide you with any relevant textbook information.

The library does not maintain a list of textbooks required for each term, though you can search the library website to see if we have your required titles available online.
