A Subject Guide is a web page developed by library staff that focuses on a specific subject area. In any of our subject guides you may find:

  • Databases relevant to the subject area
  • Links to websites, journals and magazines
  • Recommended books and ebooks
  • Career resources and professional development materials
  • Library contacts for a specific subject, etc.

Subject Guides are often the best place to start when beginning a new research project.

Where can I find Subject Guides?

Go to the Seneca Libraries homepage and click on the Subject Guides button in the Library Tools & Guides section.

You will see a collection of guides listed by topic. You can browse the whole list, narrow it down by subject, or use the search box in the upper right-hand corner to search for specific terms across all of the guides.
