Seneca students can book spaces online through the library website.

To book a room:

  1. Open the Group Study Spaces page.
  2. Select your campus.
  3. Select the date you want to book using the calendar. Spaces can be booked up to 7 days in advance (including the day of booking).
  4. Choose a room and a time(s) you'd like to book. You can book two periods per day.
  5. Press Continue.
  6. Verify your time slots are correct and  press I Agree. You will be prompted to login with your Seneca username and password.
  7. You will need to confirm your booking once more by clicking Submit.

Once submitted, you'll receive a confirmation email. That email includes:

  • Which room you booked
  • Your booked time slots
  • A cancelation link

Booking won't go through? You need to be registered for at least one class in the current term (Fall, Winter, or Summer) to book a study room. Faculty are not permitted to book the study rooms. During intercession rooms are first-come, first-serve.

Where are these rooms?

King: 1000 level study rooms are at the back of the library. Media pods are inside the library to the right as you enter. Other rooms are found on the 2nd and 3rd floor of Magna Hall.

Markham: Study rooms are located on the 2nd, 4th and 5th floors by room number.

Newnham: Rooms B2087, B2090, and the three media pods are located in the lounge area to the left as you enter the library. Other rooms are in the Computing Commons (Building B). K rooms are in the CITE building on the 3rd floor.
