Yes. Current Seneca students, staff, and faculty may borrow materials from other Ontario college libraries either through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) program or through the Direct Borrowing Agreement.

Interlibrary Loan

If our libraries don't have what you need you can send us requests for books, videos, or journal articles and we'll search for these materials at other libraries and request them on your behalf. Just fill out an Interlibrary Loan form with all the details and we'll get to work!

Be aware that there is often (though not always) a cost associated with ILLs. For more information on ILL, please visit our Interlibrary Loan page. If you have questions about the ILL process, feel free to email

Direct Borrowing

The Direct Borrowing Agreement allows Senecans to sign up for a Direct Borrower's library card at other Ontario colleges. This allows you to visit other college libraries and borrow books with some restrictions (limited loan periods, renewals, access to collections). For more information please see our Direct Borrowing page.
