All Seneca students can use Scott Library's print collections in-library.
Seneca students who are enrolled in joint Seneca-York University Programs and receive sessional identification cards from York can borrow items from Scott Library.
Seneca Faculty can be issued a York University Libraries' Courtesy library card upon request. The card entitles the holder to:
Borrowing privileges for York's collection, with the exception of the reserve collections, maps, and interlibrary loan services.
Borrow up to 15 books for a 2-week loan period and to renew items twice.
What do I need to show?
Proof of identification
Proof of affiliation with Seneca (your Onecard and a recent pay stub may suffice).
The expiry date of the York courtesy card will match the end of the academic term. Review their lending code for more information.
Are there other options for university borrowing?
All Seneca students, faculty, and staff who would like a book from York University or another academic institution can look into requesting an interlibrary loan.
