You can find partial lists of picture books by topic and campus on the Early Childhood Education subject guide. You will see at the top of the screen lists of children's picture books at Newnham Library and King Library.
How do I search for picture books using the library website?
You can also do a general search for picture books through the Library Search. To do that:
- Enter the topic you are searching into the search box. e.g. animals
- On the left side of the screen select your filters:
- Under Availability check "Available in the Library."
- Under Content/Material Type check "books."
- Click Apply Filters
- A list of children's picture books about animals that are available in library will appear on the screen. Your filters will appear at the top of the left side of the screen.
To refine this list further you can also select "Picture books for children" under Subject terms. Your results page will look something like this once you have filters added:
